Miss Wales 2010
Courtenay at Miss World
Courtenay is having a ball at the Miss World finals in China this month. She's sung a solo on the Great Wall, been part of the Miss World entourage that donated £750,000 to the Hainan Flood Appeal and been a VIP guest - along with the other 100 plus Miss World contestants - at a variety of special events.
Shop till you drop
Courtenay was invited to open the new TK Maxx in Cardiff - and got the chance to pick up her favourite items from the store as a thank you.
Miss World beckons
With just a few weeks to go before jetting off to Miss World, Courtenay received her official Miss World portfolio from London photographer Andy Lesauvage. She's looking good and ready to take on the world!
£100k for good causes
Miss Wales Courtenay Hamilton helped generate £100k for charity in one of her final public appearances before jetting off to Miss World next week. Courtenay joined some of the other most beautiful women in the country, including newly crowned Miss England 2010, Jessica Linley, and Miss Universe Great Britain, Tara Hoyos-Martinez, as special guests at the official launch of the Hemraj Goyal Foundation at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel in Heathrow on Saturday evening. At the launch, the foundation raised more than a minimum of £100,000 for Ekal Vidyalaya - a charitable trust that initiates, supports, and runs informal schools all over rural villages in India.
Va Va Voom
Courtenay was a VIP guest at the Cardiff Speedway event - and enjoyed taking part in all the media hype.
It was a lovely evening for all involved when Courtenay hosted a pamper party at The Hair Business in Cowbridge for little girls from The Joshua Foundation. Thank you Leigharne and everyone else from the salon who made it a night to remember.
Courtenay enjoyed her first official bikini photoshoot for Wales on Sunday. The beautiful swimwear is sponsored by Sandstorm Luxury which will be providing Courtenay with all her bikninis for Miss World later in the year. All pictures courtesy of Media Wales.
Courtenay is our winner!
On 26 June 2010, Courtenay was crowned Miss Wales. The 20 year old classical singer won the title following an interview with a line up of eight judges, and then three catwalk rounds: Welsh wear, party wear and evening wear. We think she’s a great Miss Wales!
Welsh speaking Courtenay was invited for interview on S4C’s Wedi Saith programme the week after her win. Courtenay sat comfortably on the sofa having been on the programme once before when she sang Christmas carols as part of their Christmas edition.
Courtenay took part in a photo shoot for Red Handed Magazine. It's become tradition that our winners always feature in the publication soon after their crowning.
